Why are On-Site OSHA Construction Safety Classes a better idea?
Why bother taking time out of your already busy week to attend an on-site OSHA Construction Safety Class? There are so many online courses available claiming to be self-paced and cheap. Why not take one of those?
Here's why . . .
- Online courses say that you can study when it's convenient for you. But let's be honest. When you get home usually you are immediately drafted by your wife or kids to take care of chores, needed projects around the house, or just hang out. (Which this is not a bad thing.) But when you are trying to study or buy out time to concentrate on such an important class as this, that's when everyone usually wants your attention. Then the only "convenient" time you have to study is after midnight when you should be sleeping and getting needed rest before the next work day.
- ON-SITE Classes give you a chance to study and learn in an environment where you are more likely to remember and pass THE FIRST TIME. Now, instead of spending days or weeks trying to fight through an online safety class, you can get it over with in a short time. This way you pass fast, and get your OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Construction Safety Card so that you can get or keep that job you were so happy to be given.
- So in the long run . . . ON-SITE is the smart choice. It's practical. And it takes into consideration the reality of all the demands on your time.
Tommy Leary of My Safety Pros can help you. Just give him a call or drop him a quick message letting him know what you are thinking. He'd be happy to work out a convenient class time and place for you or your group of fellow construction workers!
